Bertie L. Tinsley, 88 of Richmond, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2007 at her residence. She was the widow of Allen Tinsley and was preceded in death by her daughter, Gloria Tinsley. She is survived by her daughter, Sybil T. Bowman and son in law, Les Bowman of Richmond, VA; grandson, Jonathan D. Bowman. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, September 17, 2007 at Maury Cemetery, Richmond, VA. In Remembrance, “the kiss of the sun for pardon, the song of the birds for mirth, one is nearer to God’s heart in a garden than anywhere else on earth”. It was my plesure to have participated in her medical care and I/we shall miss her. She lived a long life and I am sorry for your loss.
