Miller, Gordon RaeSaturday, September 01, 2007
Gordon Rae Miller, 46, of Petersburg, passed away Saturday September 1, 2007. He was a 1979 graduate of Colonial Heights High School , was previously employed by Dominion Virginia Power. and was predeceased by his parents Paul E., Sr. & Louise Smith Miller and a brother Christopher Miller. He is survived by brothers; Paul E. Miller, Jr. and wife Cindy of Colonial Heights, Steven W. Miller of Chester, Neal E. Miller of Petersburg, sisters; Linda M. Andrews & husband, John, Sr. of Petersburg, Sandra M. Dance & husband, Mike, Sr. of Chester, uncle; Don Miller of PA., Aunts; Carol Ann Luchkiew of PA., Rosalie Skinner of Dinwiddie, step grandfather; Charles Neff of PA., numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday September 4, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Wednesday in Blandford Cemetery at 11:00 AM with Rev. Don Worrell officiating. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com Condolences
Gordon, To the Miller family:We were all so sorry to hear about Gordy.To Neal we love you and hope God blesses you and the family. To the Miller family: I was saddened to hear about the passing of Gordon. Gordon and I attended high school together at CHHS,he was a good guy who liked to joke around considerably. Gordy as we called him,was a big hit at the last 2 class reunions, just back in July I saw him at the hospital with Neil and as usuall he asked me, "What was the date of the next reunion party". Gordy, you will always be remembered as part of the class that really shined because you are a part of the class of 1979!! Keith Mingloski |
