Moss, William H. "Bill"

William Henry “Bill” Moss, Jr., 83 formerly of Hopewell died Wednesday, August 29, 2007 in Gainesville, FL. He was born in Waverly, VA and had been a long time resident of Hopewell before recently moving to Gainesville. Mr. Moss was a member of the Hopewell Lions Club, Woodlawn Presbyterian Church and a retired electrician from Honeywell/formerly Allied Chemical. He was the son of the late William H. Moss, Sr. and Nellie Spooner Moss. Mr. Moss is survived by his wife, Kathleen “Kitty” Moss, a son, W. Michael Moss, both of Gainesville, FL, two daughters, Robbin M. Keener and her husband Larry of Myrtle Beach, SC, Kimberly P. Moss of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, 4 grandchildren, Lauren, Caroline, Charlotte, and Kathryn, one brother, Frank Moss of Colonial Heights, VA and a sister, Nancy Yeatts of Disputanta. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 5, 2007 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 6, 2007 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ed Bellis, pastor of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church officiating. . Interment will follow in Appomattox Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodlawn Presbyterian Church, 1201 Blackstone Avenue, Hopewell, Virginia 23860. Although it's been a very long time since I've seen Mr. Moss, I'll always remember his gentle spirit, special smile and fun-loving nature. My sincere condolences go out to the entire family for their loss, and I pray for God's peace for them during this very sad time.

I am sorry to hear of the death of Bill .I worked at Allied Chemical with him several years ago .My Deepest Sympathy to his family .
