Emrol H. Lindo, Sr., 75, of Guyana, South America, residing in Chesterfield, Virginia passed away Saturday September 1, 2007 at his residence. He was a retired Commodities Trader assistant with the Merrill Lynch Company and attended California Polytechnic University for 2 years. . Mr. Lindo is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Alice Patricia Lindo, a son; Emrol H Lindo, Jr. and wife Danette of Chesterfield, a daughter; Sharon Lindo-Cheatham and husband, John of Chester, Virginia, grandson; Johnathan Cheatham of Chester, and Cameron Lindo of Chesterfield, brother; Ivan Lindo, sister; Claudette both of South America, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends at the Chester Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Road Chester, Virginia 23831 at 12:00 PM Friday September 7, 2007 where a funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM., with Pastor Rick Johns officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, Virginia. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com

I want to offer my sincerest condolences to Emrol Jr. and the entire Lindo/Cheatham family. I enjoyed working with Emrol Jr. and talking with him about his father's love of motorsports. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Emrol Jr. for over 5 years at Capital One. I know Emrol Jr. looked out for his father in a very loving and honorable way. I wish to pass along my heartfelt condolences for the family's loss and my admiration for Emrol Jr. and how he cared for his father over the last few years.

The Lucombe family sincerely express our deepest sympathy to the Lindo/Cheatham family. God promises to one day wipe away every tear and he also promised to comfort they that mourn and since he always keeps His promises, we know God has all of your family in the palm of His hands.
