Stallings, Alice T.

Alice Tatum Stallings, 85, a long time resident of Petersburg, VA passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2007. She was born in Petersburg the daughter of the late Robert “Robbie” Sr. and Bettie Davis Tatum. She was the widow of Woodroe Joseph Stallings and was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Mae Davis and her brother, Robert Tatum, Jr. She is survived by nephews, Donald Tatum of Richmond, VA, Gerald (Jerry) Davis and wife, Aileen of Glen Allen, VA; brother in law, Arthur Stallings of Disputanta, VA; sisters in law, Fannie Riley and Mildred Tatum, both of Petersburg and Pearl Reilly of Phillipsburg, NJ; and many close friends from Monumental Baptist Church and the Battlefield Park area of Petersburg. The family will receive friends on Thursday the 30th of August at 1:00 p.m. with a service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A committal will follow the service at Southlawn Memorial Park in Prince George, VA.
