Harris, Margaret

Margaret Elizabeth Harris, 89, of Hopewell, died August 18, 2007 after an extended illness. She was born on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, but lived most of her life in Hopewell and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her husband Henry Martin Harris. She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Marjorie Dixon of Hopewell; Nancy Brock and husband, Robert of Hampton; Patricia Fasone and husband, Phillip, of Raleigh NC; four grandchildren; Natalie Odom of Colonial Heights; Brian Dixon and wife, Robin of Gloucester; Stephanie Torres and husband, Jose, of Smithfield, NC; Robert Fasone and wife, April, of Raleigh, NC; and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday August 21 at 1:00 PM at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T.Morriss and Son Funeral Home, 820 W. Broadway, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Chester, VA. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Staff at the Hopewell Health Care Center for their excellent care and support provided during their mother’s illness.
