Daniel, Edward M.

Edward Maurice Daniel, 79, of Hopewell, died Friday, August 17, 2007. He was born in Oxford, North Carolina. Mr. Daniel was a retired Inspector for Honeywell Corp and a member of Powers Memorial Baptist Church.. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert W. and Nellie Nelson Daniel and his brother, Ralph Daniel. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Davis Daniel, three sons, Randall E. Daniel & wife Onita of Chester, Steven M. Daniel & wife Deborah of Prince George, C. Bruce Daniel & wife Karen of Chester, Seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, two brothers, Nelson W. Daniel & wife Myrtie of Hopewell, James R. Daniel of Oxford, NC., and a sister-in-law Shirley M. Daniel of Hopewell. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2--3:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday, August 20, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Hopewell Chapel with Rev. James Rogers, Pastor of Powers Memorial Church officiating.
