Nancy Williamson Lamb, 62, of Petersburg, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2007 at her residence. Born in Richmond, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Charley Robertson Williamson. She was a graduate of Saint Margaret’s School in Tappahannock, VA and Mary Baldwin College. She is survived by her husband, Paul H. Lamb, III; daughter, Whitney W. McCracken and husband, Michael; grandchildren, McKenzie E. McCracken and John Tyler McCracken; step-daughter, Sarah L. Larned and husband, David; and step-son, Paul H. Lamb, IV. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 11, at Blandford Cemetery with the Rev. Boston M. Lackey, Jr., Rector Emeritus of Christ & Grace Episcopal Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crater Community Hospice, 840 W. Roslyn Road, Suite E., Colonial Heights, VA 23834. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

I was so very sorry to hear that Nancy had lost her battle with cancer. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Whitney during this most difficult of times.

Dear Whitney,

I am terribly sorry to hear about your mother. As you can imagine, I have many fond memories of your mom and our growing up in Walnut Hill. Please know that Lee and I have you and your family in our prayers.
