James Warner Moore, Jr., 79 of Prince George died Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at his residence. He was born in Richmond and had been a life long resident of the Prince George area. Mr. Moore was a member and treasurer of the Allied Retiree Association, Fort Lee Rod & Gun Club, Amateur Trap Shooters Association, CCC Hunt Club and a retired maintenance supervisor for Allied Signal Corporation. He was the son of the late James Warner Moore, Sr. and Emily Floyd Moore and the widower of Lois Henderson Moore. Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Evelyn M. Moore of Prince George, three daughters, Terry M. Pearson and her husband Joseph of Columbia, TN, Diane L. Moore, Patricia M. DiGiacomo and her husband John, all of Prince George, two granddaughters, Jennifer Pearson of Nashville, TN, Jessica Pearson of Knoxville, TN, two grandsons, James R. Moore and Wesley E. Wiseman, both of Prince George, one brother, Dr. Floyd L. Moore and his wife Doris of Chester and one nephew, F. Lee Moore, Jr. of Chesapeake, VA.. A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 9, 2007 at 7:00 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service with the Rev. Malcolm Hutton, officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 9:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Crater Community Hospice, 840 W. Roslyn Road, Suite E, Colonial Heights, VA, 23834 or the Prince George Emergency Crew, P.O. Box 308, Prince George, VA., 23875 or to your favorite charity.
