Condolences

I wanted to tell your family how much I loved your mom. I sold AVON(you will probably find lots of Avon in her home) to her for about 10 years. I remember when she lived on Rt. 10 and your dad was still living. I always enjoyed visiting with both of them and I felt welcome in their home. Over the years I spent about an hour every other week with her as she looked at my demo sheets and made her purchases. We would talk about all kinds of things. I remember that when I would call she would always say "I'm cleaning up, everything's a mess." I would always tell her "don't worry about it, it doesn't bother me." One day I actually said "Dee, you are always cleaning your house, and you are never going to have it perfect when I come, so stop worrying about it". My birthday is Dec. 8 and she always sent me a birthday card and an anniversary card (April 18). This year I did not get one and I tried on several occasions to contact her, even leaving notes at the house but I never got an answer. I have very funny and fond memories of her and I hope she knew how much I liked her. She was a very nice person and I know she will be missed. May the Lord give all of you peace during this time of loss.
