Alsko, Julia P.

Julia Phillips Alsko, 77 of Hopewell died Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Alsko was born in Washington, PA and resided in Richmond, VA before moving to Hopewell several years ago. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael Charles and Anna Stajcar Phillips and her husband, William Alsko. Mrs. Alsko is survived by three sons, William Alsko, Jr. of Hopewell, Peter M. Alsko of Wake, VA, John A. Alsko, II of Richmond, VA, one daughter, Teresa M. Alsko of Virgilina, VA, three grandchildren, Shanna Or, Katrina B. Alsko, Terrence Alsko, 2 great grandchildren and four sisters, Anna Alsko, Philomena Adams, Helen Bury, all of Washington, PA and Mary Worrell of Richmond, VA. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 2, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. The procession will leave the funeral home at 9:25AM for a graveside service Friday, August 3, 2007 at 10:00 AM in Washington Memorial Cemetery, Sandston, VA.
