Swinson, Eldridge L.Tuesday, July 31, 2007
Eldridge L. Swinson, age 75, of Sarasota, Florida, formerly of Chester, Virginia died July 31, 2007. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Friday, August 5, at the Chester Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday at Sunset Memorial Park in Chester. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; sons Richard and David Swinson; daughter Beverly Vaughan, and six grandchildren. He was a dedicated employee of the CSX Railroad for 30 years, and after retirement, volunteered his time and talents to build homes for Habitat for Humanity. He was a loving husband and devoted father who will be greatly missed. Memorial contributions may be made to TideWell Hospice, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Fl 34238 or to the local Hospice.
