Tyree, Roy G., Jr.

Roy Garnett Tyree, Jr., age 52, of Charles City, Va., went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 20, 2007 at the University of Virginia Hospital. Charlottesville, Va. He was born in Richmond, Va. the only son of Cora C. Morrissette. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife Vicki, his loving daughter: Kristy L. Watson of Aylett, VA., his cherished granddaughter: Katie A. Watson, of Aylett, Va., five loving sisters: Virginia Taylor, of Richmond, Va.; Judy and Jerry Taylor, of Chesterfield; Debbie and Kent Pillow, of Rockville, Va.; Darlene and Billy Armstrong, of Louisa County, Va., Jackie and Frank Rogers, of Richmond, Va.; brother Tony Tyree, of Colorado; Sister Audrey Lynn, of Colorado; brother Charlie McKenney, of Louisa, Va.; numerous nieces and nephews; and a devoted friend & relic hunter. Danny Garrett. of Ashland, Va. Roy loved carpentry, and was a Civil War enthusiast and avid relic hunter. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. The family will receive friends Monday throughout the day July 23, 2007 for anyone wishing to view Roy. A funeral service will be held Tuesday July 24, 2007 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev Robert Fleming & Terry Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the University of Virginia Transplant Center, Charlottesville, Va. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
