Marian Paige “Sis” Crumpler, 80, of Greenfield Farm, Dinwiddie departed this life on Thursday, July 19, 2007. She was born and raised in Kennilworth and was preceded in death by her parents, Major Clixtoe and Mildred Farmer Sheffield, husband, June Crumpler and infant daughter, Kimberley Anne Crumpler. She was a retired civil service employee in finance and accounting at Fort Lee. She is survived by daughters, Barbara Crumpler McCord and Jewel Crumpler Johnson; sons, June Wayne “Sonny” Crumpler and David Gary Crumpler; grandchildren, Stephen McCord, Samuel McCord, Matthew McCord, Kimberley McCord Rooney, Aaron Crumpler, Jessica Crumpler and Jamie Crumpler; great grandchildren, Stephen McCord, Stephanie McCord, Jacob McCord and Joshua McCord; a brother, Major Jeter Sheffield; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Monday, July 23rd from 6 to 8 pm.
