Billy Sunday Thompson from Earth to Heaven, Amazing Grace! How sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me! age 81, of Richmond, VA passed away on Monday, June 11, 2007. He was a veteran of the US Navy and served in WWII. He is survived by a son, Ernest Robert Thompson and wife Linda of Chester; brothers, Kenneth Thompson of Christiansburg, VA and Rev. Fred Thompson of Missouri; sister, Lois T. Crawford of Christiansburg; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and a devoted friend Pauline Matherly and her family members. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will follow there on Thursday at 2 p.m. with interment in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. Grandaddy You will be truly missed. The last time I seen you, you said I would like to go to sleep and wake up in Heaven. That is what you did. I will miss you, but I know one day I will see you again.
