David S. Barrett “Uncle Dave” 67, of Chesterfield, passed away Friday, June 8, 2007. He was the son of the late James Monroe & Evie Poston Barrett, and was retired from the Chesterfield County School System as a mechanic. He is survived by his wife of 28 years Sandra K. Barrett, brother-in-law: Mike Koogler & Fiancée Kelly Myers, close friends and fishing buddies Trevor Sapp, Kenny Pierce, Phil Thomas, numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday June 11, 2007 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chester Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel Tuesday June 12, 2007 at 11:00 AM, with interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. A reception will follow for close friends and family at brother-in-law Mike Kooglers Home..
