Dyson, Albert G."Jim"

Albert G. “Jim” Dyson 73 of Sutherland died Thursday, June 7, 2007. He was the son of the late Hunter Gibson Dyson and Dora Traylor Dyson. Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Procise Dyson and brothers, William F. “Dump” Dyson and Hunter F. “Ike” Dyson. He worked at Allied Chemical Cooperation, B plant for 25 years and for the Dinwiddie County Sheriffs Department for 10 years. He is survived by a son, John G. Dyson; daughter, Debbie D. Crowder; son, Dale L. Dyson; four grandchildren, Amy L. Crowder, Fallon O. Dyson, John G. Dyson, II, Kenneth S. Dyson; three great-grandchildren, Brittany Boyd, Christopher Boyd and Chelsea Boyd and numerous other family members. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday, June 11, 2007 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
