Emma Marie Fortune, age 58, of Stoney Creek, VA passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2007. She was born in Clayton, NC the daughter of the late Paul Earnest Johnson and Mavis Lee Fawler Johnson. She was preceded in death by a sister, Annie Ruth McCoy. She is survived by her husband, James M. Fortune; daughters, Amanda Rae Price and husband, Christopher of Dinwiddie, VA and Amy Marie Fortune of Stoney Creek; brothers, Arthur Ray Johnson and wife, Elizabeth of Beaverdam, VA and Linwood Douglas Johnson and wife, Diane of Jacksonville, NC; sister, Peggy Dunn and husband, Royal of Chester, VA; grandson, Cody Michael Lee Price of Dinwiddie; nephew, Roy Dunn, Jr. and wife, Amanda of Prince George, VA; and nieces, Christie Lee Edwards, Kathy McCoy and Debbie Poe. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Sunday, June 10, 2007 from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will take place at Walthall Baptist Church, Colonial Heights, VA on Monday, June 11, 2007 at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Elone Baptist Church Cemetery, Rt. 689, Verdon Rd.
