Dillard, Virginia B.Tuesday, June 05, 2007
Virginia Belle Hedgebeth Dillard, 94, of Matoaca went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 5, 2007. She was the daughter of the late Charles Columba and Martha Agnes Wilkerson Hedgepeth and the widow of James T. Dillard. She is survived by her sons, James S. Dillard and wife, Margaret, Robert C. Dillard and wife, Lawana; daughters, Joyce Anne Branzelle and husband, William, Martha Jane Church and husband, Lee; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and a sister, Pauline May Frederick. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Friday, June 8, 2007 from 6 to 8 pm. where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 11 am. I remember your Mom sitting on Marty, my thoughts and prayers are with you and if you need anything at all do not hesitate to call me!! Wendy you are in my thoughts as well. My grandma had such a stong will she fought right to the end. She has lived her last years in agony. If anyone deserves to go home and be with the Lord it would be her.
