Woodward, Eleanor Ruth

Eleanor Ruth Woodward, 78, of Hopewell, died Monday, May 28, 2007 at her residence. She was born in Saltville, VA and had been a long time resident of the Hopewell area. Mrs. Woodward was the daughter of the late Clyde H. and Kate Galliher Hyman. She is survived by her husband, Robert Cleveland Woodward of Hopewell, two daughters, Sue Woodward Robertson of Chester, Kathi Mary McComber of Hopewell, two sons, Robert C. Woodward, Jr., Kevin M. Woodward, both of Hopewell, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, one brother, Buddy C. Hyman of Tazewell, VA and one sister, Beatrice Allison of Saltville, VA. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 30, 2007 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 11:00 AM in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George, with Pastor Terry Bowden of Enon Church of God officiating, assisted by Pastor Arthur Harris of the Church of God in Radford, VA.
