White, Hazel E.Friday, May 25, 2007
Hazel E. White, age 73, of Chester, VA, died on Friday, May 25, 2007. Hazel was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant. She was preceded in death by her husband Warren F. White. She is survived by daughters, Ann Austin and Barbara Poe, both of Mechanicsville, VA; sons, Edward Poe, Jr. of Sandston, VA, and Lewis C. Poe of Richmond, seven grandchildren; Doug McGhee, Melissa McGhee, Crystal Howk, Mathew Poe, Ashley Poe, Amie Poe, Travis Poe, and one great-grandchild Alex McGhee, two brothers; James Harris and wife Jenny of Mineral, VA, Butch Harris of Richmond, and devoted friends and neighbors Mr. and Mrs. LLoyd Bevins. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Chesterfield, VA on Tuesday May 29, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will follow there on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com Condolences
Ann, So sorry for the loss of your Mom, especially coming so close after your Dad & Stepdad. Although there's never a good time to lose a parent, I hope you'll take solace in knowing that a "Great Girl" like you . . . didn't become that way without a good teacher.
