Dearest Lane,
Carol gave me the news about your husband. I know there is nothing I can say that will really help. But,I do want you to know that I care deeply for you and I am so sad for you at your loss. I am sure you will have plenty of family all around, but if you would ever want to come and just talk it through, I will be there for you.
Love and Blessings,
Sally and Rick
