Dear Families of Mia,
My deepest condolences for your loss. May she rest in peace and her spirit be with all who loved her, especially her children.
Sincerely,
Margaret Callaghan
Oh how she filled a room, I know heaven opened those gates and let her fly in. She could make a sick dog dance. Her spirit will be with us all forever. I have known her since her early youth and she always had that way to make you smile. I don't think she ever met a stanger. God has given her peace now we will have to love her kids so they will know how much their Momma was loved.
Marty, you were her angel, her life with you was a blessing she had earned, never forget how much she loved you and the kids.
Mallie Murray (Woody & Mike's Mom)
This message is from the Baggett Family in Texas: Tom & all who loved Mia, please accept our deepest sympathies. All of our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of grief and the days ahead.
Our soul aches at the loss of such a precious angel on Earth. Mia embodied the definition of strength, passion, love and enthusiasm for living life to the fullest. She was always the life of the party with her fantastic personality. We fondly remember every moment spent with the Thompsons. Mia was one of the most caring people we've ever encountered and her beautiful spirit will live on in our hearts and souls forever. We're sending our love and prayers to Marty, Tyler, Taylor and Mia's family members for comfort and peace. We are so sorry for your loss. Mia will surely watch over all of you from her home in Heaven.
Hi all!
Mia will certainly be missed! I haven't seen her in quite some time, but have kept up through mom (Patty). Many childhood memories, though! One of my favorites was her dancing around the house while singing along with Elton John's, "Island Girl." I think TJ had a practice to go to and Blair and I were probably playing superfriends or something :-)
Prayers of peace are with you!
Here's a virtual hug from the Tice's!

Our Condolences to Tom and your family, Wayne and I only got to know Mia during the end of her life. I only wish we had more time to get to know her better. She was a truly a kind and warm person. We will miss her.
My heart and soul cry out. You have been healed and now are in the loving arms of our Father. I will miss my friend always. I loved you so Mia!
To the family. My prayers are with you and I feel the pain that you are going through. So many people have been blessed and touched by Mia. I will miss her laughter and beautiful face. Marty, Mia was so blessed to have you as her husband.
I love you all. God Bless
May peace be with you all knowing Mia passionately touched so very many hearts and souls. She is one of a kind and I will never forget her beauty, her laughter, her sincerity, her kindness, and most of all her magnetic and luminary personality. Mia unknowingly gave me strength and a different view on life and I feel so very lucky knowing her and learning from her. I will never forget Mia.
Marty ... Mia gave you the best part of her ... beautiful Taylor, your little Mia :-) While it is the saddest thing in the world to lose, remember you have gained tremendously! The first 3 years of ones life is what makes them who they are and Mia perfectly molded, taught, and passed on her sweet and genuine personality, her morals, and enduring values of life onto your daughter.
Tyler ... her strong son and little man :-) Mia always went far and beyond to give him the best of everything. While working hard to shape him into a strong and bright man, so often she told me of the times she just wanted to baby him, hug and kiss him up and down, and watch every move he made to make sure he was always safe and secure. It is hard watching your first born baby son grow and venture out. Mia superbly accomplished this, biting nails and worrying, but made a fine impact on his life.
To Mia's parents, siblings, and relatives ... how blessed to have Mia in your life. May you find comfort and peace knowing she made a grand influential and invaluable difference in this fast-paced and stressful life of ours. She always passed energy and smiles throughout where ever she went.
Mia ... thank you for being my friend, the best neighbor, and a true pleasure in my life. You will always be remembered and shine light in my path. God Bless You ... and he did in serenity. Your friend, Cindy - Southcreek, Majestic Creek Dr
Tom and family,
We never had the pleasure of meeting your daughter Mia and her family, but we did hear you speak of her fondly on many occasions. With two loving daughters of our own, we can only imagine the sorrow and sense of loss you must feel. Our heart felt condolences and prayers go out to you and your loved ones.
In loving memory of my "sista" MIA on Mothers Day...as God collects my many tears, may He pour blessings upon your beautiful children now & forever. Amen
To my best friend Mia: I love you so much and I am blessed with the precious memories that bring laughter through my tears. You have touched my life in such a special way and you will live in my heart always.
My sincere condolences to Mia's family and all of those who were blessed in knowing her...

THE BRIDGE OF MEMORY
The voice of someone beauiful is silent, and yet her presence seems so real and clear. The smile that alway filled a room with sunshine at anytime, it seems could reappear. with every thought of her. It seems the sadness become a wider, deeper stream of loss. yet memory builds a bridge of healing comfort from here to her,For loving hearts to cross. In quiet moments may you feel the presence of your loved one and the healing power of memory.
Mia will alway stay close in my heart, i will alway remember are walks to the mail box at the same time we would stand there talk then we would meet half way, and give each other a hug and say I love You.then we would both laugh and say we are mail boxs friends.
the beauty of friendship is like the beauty of flowers. there are many kinds and yet each has unique beauty to offer.
Peace be with you all

Mia will always have a special place in our hearts. Though I had not seen Mia in years, I was able to talk to her on the phone several months ago. It seemed like we were back in our high school days but even better as we talked about our families. She could make you laugh and enjoy life!
