Dear Ann & family,It was with deep regret that we found out about Jerry's passing today. He was a much loved and respected friend. We will so miss seeing him at the festival in Colonial Heights. He was a joy to be around and just made the show for us all. We learned by his knowledge and example. Please know that our prayers and love are sent to you and the family. God Bless and give you all a double portion of His comfort and peace at a most hard time for you. Please let us know if we can help you in any way.

A true Southern Gentleman lays at rest now in a place where we all hope to get to oneday. In Heaven there is no sorrow only a promise from God of a perfect place.Though to me Jerry never complained through all his illnesses he kept upbeat and smiling.I will miss him and will always remember our times at the Relic shop and Camp 1813 meetings.
My codolences to Anne, Mike and Susan words are never enough.May God give you all the strength needed at this time.My prayers are with each of you.
Your Friend and Compatriot,
Don Ponton
