Condolences

I didn't know George very well. He attended our "Fellowship Bible Class" at Colonial Heights Baptist and was very receptive to everyone. I know his brother Charlie will miss him very much. We all know that he is with our Lord and Savior now.

George was the oldest of the Chiarky Grandchildren. He was a man with a sweet disposition whom I remember well. As a teen, he used to stay with us at our home, and he was prone to walk in his sleep. Everyone used to watch out for "Little George" to make sure that he was not injured while he was walking around asleep. He lost his own father at an early age to tuberculosis and George had to go to a Sanitorium to be treated for the same disease. He was just a little boy, but it was the only treatment for tuberculosis at the time, so he had to go. I loved my cousin George very much and I will miss him. I am sure he is sitting at the foot of the throne now, with his little dogs near him. Cousin Marlene

George will be sorely missed here in the neighbor. I am so used to seeing him and Ruby walk each day, and we saw him and Amy for so long as well. What a wonderful long, healthy life he lived and always had only pleasant things to say. I enjoyed our conversations as well as my daughter. I guess the Lord will send us another cute "lil man" in the neighbor, but we will always remember "good ole George". May love and peace follow you and all that loved George.
