Jason Troy Walker, 19, of Prince George, died Thursday, April 19, 2007. Jason was a student at Richard Bland College and was an ironworker for Davis Steel Co., Inc. in Hopewell. He is survived by his wife, Amanda E. Walker, his parents, David Allan and Teri Walker, a brother, Brandon Walker, an unborn child, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 22, 2007 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Monday, April 23, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Gina Anderson-Cloud, pastor of Sycamore United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George County. Memorial contributions may be made to Sycamore United Methodist Church, 9710 Old Stage Road, Prince George, VA, 23875. He was a good friend for the time I knew him. He was open and helped me through my own troubles, and I wish I could have been there for him. I hope he'll greet me at the gates. God bless.
