Bufford, Frances B.

Frances Bell Bufford, age 93, of Chester, VA passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2007. She was born in Comet, VA the daughter of the late Ollie L. and Erscell Atkinson Bell. Mrs. Bufford was retired from C & P Telephone as a supervisor after 35 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, James G. Bufford. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara A. Daniel of Chester, VA; five grandsons, Michael Daniel of Matoaca, VA, Steve Daniel of Mathews, VA, Mason Daniel of King and Queen County, Ken Daniel of Chester and Chris Daniel of Chester; five great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Friday, April 20, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will take place there on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 10 a.m. A committal service will follow at Mill Swamp Cemetery, Isle of Wight County, VA at 2 p.m. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com
