Condolences

Karen & Clint,
I just don't know what to say. I'll miss cutting those pretty curls that the Moose ladies loved, and letting him sweep up his own hair. Matthew had an inner love for people that was so big. I also never heard him say a bad word about anyone. His face glowed, all the time. I guess God heard about how good he was in the kitchen and wanted him in Heaven's kitchen. You both take care and if you need us, you know where we are, just call.
Love you both,
Tammy and Bobby

Karen and Mike words could not express my feelings and thoughts when I heard about Matthew. I am so sorry about your loss. I can remember it just like yesterday when Matthew and I would drive the car around in the yard thinking we were grown, all the mud pies we made, and playing school. I shared some of the best memories with your family and always thought of you as just that...FAMILY. Matthew and I grew up and moved on but all the childhood memories were never forgotten throughout the years. Just know that GOD had a different plan for Matthew and one day when we spread our wings and fly to the pearly gates, Matthew will be waiting for us. With my deepest sympathies for you and your family, I love you.

Karen, Clint, Michael & Family. We will miss Matthew more than you will ever know. He was such an asset to the Lodge. The next time that Evelyn and I have to decorate for an event or a wedding, we will miss him helping us with the tables and just sitting with us and laughing at us while we are fussing with each other. He always got a kick out of our fussing with each other. I never heard Matthew say an unkind word about anyone. He never hesitated to help us old ladies when we needed him to help us carry things up stairs as it was hard for us to do the stairs. You have raised a kind and compassionate young man and you should be very proud. They say that Heaven is wonderful. He has no sorrows or worries. If we live right we will all be able to join him and give him a big hug. For those left behind we must go on and follow in his example.

I wish there were words to say how we feel about Mathew and the loss of him, but know in your heart that he will always be with us in our minds and hearts. Know that he will truley be missed by all that knew him and expecially the ones that loved him. Give comfort to know that he is with GOD now and that his new adventure has just started. Karen and Clint~
My thoughts and prayers are with you both, during this most tragic time. Take comfort in knowing you raised Matthew to be such a wonderful young man who loved you both as much as you loved him. Matthew was a pleasure to work with and a joy to be around. If he wasn't making people laugh, he was making them smile.
Thank you for sharing the gift of a young man named Matthew with the rest of the world. He was taken much too soon.

Mike, Karen,
I was so sorry to hear about Matthew, had been
a long time since I have seen him so it is hard
to believe he was 23. My heart, prayers and love
go out to both of you at this time. I won't say
I know what you are going through as I don't.
But know that if we look to God for strength in
time it will come. Life will never be the same
but life for us goes on and we have to prepare for the day we will be joined with our loved ones
on the other side. No more sorrow and pain!!!
My love to you both.

Mike and Karen and family members, I am so sorry for the loss of your Son. He will be missed by many who's lives he has touched over the years. I remember him from a small boy, growing up in Church and following as our children all went through school with him. Please know that Dr. Brown and my Mother send their prayers to all of you as this will be a very difficult time for those he has left behind. But remember as we Trust in the Lord, we can see him again. My sincere condolences are with you and the entire family will be in our prayers. May God ease your pain. In Christ, Brenda Sims
