Condolences

My I extend my deepest sympathy to the family of Don Clemons. Don and I served as members together in the Forty and Eight and had developed a friendship. Don was such an asset to the organization, anytime we started a project or need help, he was always there, more than willing to lend help or donate his contacts with companies that could assist us. He was a very giving man with a wonderful attitude regarding his fellow man. I shall miss him personally, and as Correspondant of V-977 I send to you on their behalf our deepest Sympathy. We shall miss him greatly. May the warm memories of Don help you in time pass from the sadness of your loss into joy once again.

Donald was an asset to the American Legion, his many contacts in the business world aided the American Legion and La Societe Des Quarante Hommes Et Huit Chevaux in their many Children and Youth programs. He was also involved in the Americanism programs of each organisation. He will be missed by all who knew him.
