Richard Henry Salmon, 81, of Chester, died, Thursday, March 29, 2007 in John Randolph Medical Center. He was born in Petersburg to Charles H. and Annie Heineman Salmon and attained a Bachelors degree in business at the College of William and Mary in Virginia. He was preceded in death by his sister, Wilhelmina S. Moore. Surviving are his wife Jean Hughes Salmon of Chester; son Richard H. Salmon Jr. and wife Laura R. of Kensington MD; grandchildren Kimberley E. and Andrew T. Salmon of Kensington MD. The family will receive friends Sunday April 1, 2007 from 4 to 6 PM in the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Monday April 2, 2007 at 11 AM at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Second Presbyterian Church, 419 West Washington Street, Petersburg, VA 23803 or to
