Wilder, Gail Alice

Gail A. Wilder of Chester, VA passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2007 after a long battle with lung cancer. She is survived by her husband, Col. (Ret.) Sam Wilder, Jr.; sons Michael P. Moore and wife, Regina and M/Sgt David L. Moore (USAF) and wife, Cindi; her step son, Samuel D. Wilder III and wife, Lisa; step daughter, Sheryl D. Wilder; mother, Sybil Peters; sister, Phyllis Haddock and husband, Tony; and brother, Sonny Peters. She struggled long and courageously against her failing health. Her family and friends will miss her kindness and love. A visitation will be held in her honor at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3050 W. Hundred Rd, Chester, VA, 23831, on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 7 p.m., with a brief ceremony of prayer beginning at 7:30p.m. A memorial service will follow on Friday, at 11:00 a.m. in the St. James Catholic Church, Hopewell, VA.
