Terry Lee Anderson, 53, of Chester, Virginia, passed away peacefully at his home on March 25, 2007, after fighting a four-year battle with colon cancer. He leaves behind his wife, Suzanne Watkins Anderson, of Chester; daughter Elaine Bartulewicz Biedler and husband Andy of Colonial Heights; and daughter Laura Bartulewicz Barker and husband Michael of Chester. His first grandchild is due on May 18. Terry was employed for almost 30 years by Honeywell, Inc. in Hopewell, as a chemical shift supervisor on “D” shift. Terry was an avid hunter, sports enthusiast and loved the outdoors. Terry also enjoyed his Labrador retrievers and cats. Terry was a gentle and giving man that loved his family dearly. Terry’s quick wit, sense of humor and loving spirit left a mark on this world that will be forever remembered. Anyone who met him did not soon forget him. The family would like to extend its sincere gratitude to the Massey Cancer Center at Stony Point and the wonderful physicians, nurses, and staff who cared for Terry over the years. The family will receive friends at the J. T. To Mrs. Anderson and family:
I was so sorry to hear of Terry's death. He was a wonderful man. I got to know Terry while working at the Hopewell Plant. He had great strength of character; someone you could always count on. He was one of those people you are glad to have known, as you pass through this life.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mrs. Anderson, Jeanne, Ninky(Judy) and Bubba's wife, Suzanne,
My ole my,it's been a long time since we last saw each other. I saw where Frances Branzelle Morgan also sent a message of condolence. Yes, we all go back a long way with our history of Hinton Street. My brother, David, mentioned to me that he had seen Terry (Bubba, to me) down at the Civic Center last year, and that they talked about the cancers they were fighting and the fact that our dad was fighting for his life, too. Just think, Bubba lost his fight just 10 days after my dad did. I know they are together now and free of pain and suffering. I've never met you, Suzanne, but you must be a very special lady because Bubba was always so special. We all had a great childhood back in the days of Hinton Street, and I remember us all sleeping in the back yard in the tent. We created some wonderful memories.
I am trying to cope with my loss right now, too, so I know what you must be going through. It's this great big empty hole in our hearts that aches and aches. The emptiness...
God Bless You and your family and I hope that the peace I am waiting for will come to you soon, too.
Suzanne and family,
As a fellow student, my heart and prayers go out to you and your family. I have not personally met you, but this school has made us all a kind of family through our discussion panels. May you find peace and love during this difficult time.

Terry was an example for all of us not to take life for granted. He took advantage of every single day he had left and lived it as if there was no tomorrow. We all could use a lesson in life from him. Life is so short and we need to love everyone as much as we can because we never know how long we have on this earth. There's only that once in a lifetime love and you were lucky enough to find him. You'll be with him again one day. He's sending you his grandson to take his place. We love you and hope you call us anytime day or night.
Susanne and family,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I have kept you guys in my prayers and will continue to do so. May God give you the strenght and courage you need to see you through your loss. God Bless you ALL

I was sorry to hear of Terry's passing. It was truly a joy to have worked with him. When I was on D shift we spent many times talking sports. He was very easy to work with, always joking and keeping things lively. He will be missed greatly by all those who worked with him. May god be with you and your family during this time of sorrow.
Suzanne and Family,
I, thank you for keeping us abreast of Terry's battle and letting us share our prayers with you. We will continue to think and pray for you as you begin your healing. May you all rest peacefully now as your physical suffering has been placed in God's hands.

Jeanne, "Ninky" she'll always be Ninky to me and Mrs. Anderson. It was like someone put a knife in my heart when I was told of "Bubba's" passing. He'll always be Bubba to me. I grew up calling him Bubba. So many memories of those good old growing up on Hinton St. days. Those were some fun times. Bubba was the "tag along" little brother whenever Jeanne and I would want to play. I could write a book about those wonderful "non stressful" days back then. I just want to say I am soooooo happy that I finally got to see him a few years ago down in old town Petersburg that Thursday night. I met his wife who is a sweet lady. My heart goes out to you, I could feel the love you and Terry shared as I stood there talking to him about the past. Take care and remember we'll all see each other again someday but until that time comes, we must be strong and hang on to the best memories that were made. Jeanne, Ninky and Mrs. Anderson, please take care and you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Suzanne and family, you have my deepest sympathy. May God be with you all during this time of loss. I will be praying for all of you that God will help you and your family through this sad and painful time in your life.
Dear Suzanne,
Your fellow classmates at FHCHS offer their deepest sympathy and prayers to you and your family. May you feel the presence and comfort of the Lord at this time.

Suzanne, may you and your family find comfort in knowing that Terry requires nothing, but is resting comfortably in the arms of God. May the wonderful memories that you all created strengthen you everyday.

Terry was my buddy at Honeywell. I was a shift A supervisor and we worked together many times through out the years. When I stop and think about Terry, He was like a son to me. If I can do anything anytime, just call me. 804-458-8686

So sorry to hear about Terry. We all send our condolences to the family. God be with you at this time of sorrow. Respectfully, Dixie,Shannon, BJ
It's painful to watch bad things happen to good people. I was greatful that Terry and his wife, Suzanne (my sister), allowed me to be a part of their life... both before and after his cancer diagnosis. People tell me that I did/do a lot for them. Thank my parents and God for that gift / ability. Terry has passed on to an eternal life. Being a cancer survivor, I ask that you pray for those who battle illness. Ricky
To Mrs Anderson, Jeanne and Judy...I just found out a few days ago about Bubba having cancer and I was shocked to get online and having an email about his passing. Let me say how sorry I'am to hear of this. My heart is with you all and my prayers are abundant for all of you. I know how hard it is to lose a brother or sister. We lost Cindy in 2002 to breast cancer so I know personally the pain that each of you feel. All I know is that he is now in the Lord's care and we will see him again and be with for all etenity in Heaven. Cindy knew him personally and I have no doubt that she took him by the hand when he arrived in Heaven. Please do not hesitate to ask if you need anything at all and again my deepest sympathies for all of you.
Suzanne and Family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss of Terry. We will continue to keep you close in our thoughts and pray for your strength and peace.
Much love, Pamela and Tom
My deepest regrets to the family ,You are in my prayers .
My wife and I send our condolences to Suzanne and family on the passing of Terry. Although I was never able to physically meet Terry, my wife and I followed his battle with cancer and offered our prayers as we do now. Sue Ann and I have learned a lot about being thankful for each day because of Terry and Suzanne Anderson. God be with you during this time of sorrow.
Respectfully,
Thomas King
