I am so very sorry for your loss. I was so taken aback when I heard of this. Mike and I were close during the early school years- we met in 5th grade Mr. Early's class at Matoaca Elem. But we lost touch by the time High School came around. He was a wonderful, wonderful guy- his eyes would just light up when he smiled. Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. May God be with you always.

My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. I just learned of mike's untimely death and it breaks my heart. To his wife and kids... MIke was such a great guy.. I havnt seen himsince school... but Im sure he hasnt changed much he was who he was. He used to crack me up on a daily bases. I wish I had kept in touch with him... But through friends I have heard how he was and about his family and I heard he was a devoted family man. I hope you can find some kind of comfort knowing hes with the Lord. Having small children myself... I can understand the hard task of explaining to them of the events that have taken place. My prayers are with you all. Mike may you rest in peace my friend......
Becky,
I don't even know what else to say, girl. You know we are here. Hopefully, between all of us, we will be able to recognize what you and the kids need before you even have to ask. If we miss something, please don't hesitate to ask. Bobby and I love you and the kids, and we're going to do everything in our power to make sure you guys are taken care of. We love you, baby.
Michele

But I can't think of anything, because I don't think there are any right now. I just wish I could make this go away. You have my friendship and all the support you need. My love goes out to you and your babies, I am here for ya'll at any time day or night. I love you. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Tammy
I would like to say how sorry I am to hear about Mike. He was just like a big brother to me when I was just a little girl who lived next door on Tangier Circle. I’ll never forget the time I spent the night with Audrey and Mike came in her room and dumped a huge bucket of worms (fake worms) on us that he used as bait when he went fishing. It scared me to death. But that’s why he was so fun and loveable. We have so many pictures to remember him with. If I, mom or dad can do anything for you, please let us know. Your family is in our prayers.
Love,
Nicki, Desi and Cricket
As the director of Valerie's before and after school program, I know the love that she has for her father. My condolences go out to your entire family, and I will continue to support Valerie in any way possible.
