Amanda “Manda” Susan Croll, age 29, of Chester, VA passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2007. She was a truly dedicated, loving mother to three beloved sons. She was a member of Living Hope Lutheran Church, an artist, poet and animal lover. She is survived by her husband, Melvin R. Croll; three children, Brendan, Melvin and Mason; parents, Don and Sue Brooks of Chester; a loving sister, Caitlin Brooks of Chester; brother, Steven Woody of Forest, VA; father and mother-in-law, Melvin C. and Pamela R. Croll of Dinwiddie, VA; two brother-in-laws, Menion and Matthew Croll and many, many close friends. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Monday, March 26, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Living Hope Lutheran Church, Midlothian, VA on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield, VA. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to your local SPCA. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Brooks,

I'm so terribly sorry to learn of your loss. Mandy was always so much fun to talk to and be around. I live in Texas now otherwise I would have definitely been there to pay my respects. I'll never forget the laughing and conversations we used to have while we watched Caitlin play ball for Thomas Dale. My deepest sympathy.
