Cox, Dorothy T.

Dorothy Tomlin Cox, 66 of Dinwiddie Co., died Sunday, March 11, 2007. She was a native of Petersburg and the daughter of the late William H. and Ethel Clark Tomlin. She was a employee of Brown & Williamson Tobacco company for 13 years, retired from VDOT after 11 years of faithful service. She was preceded in death by her brother Bill Tomlin and sister Joann Wolfrey. She is survived by her husband, Edward M. Cox from Petersburg; son, Kenneth H. Cox, Sr. and wife, Betty; daughters, Betty Nelson and husband, Eddie and Debra Lynn Cox all of Dinwiddie; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Sprouse of Florida, Edna Lewis and husband, Wayne of Georgia; Wilma Tomlin of Louisiana; brother, Herbie Tomlin of Richmond. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
