Betty Jean Jamerson, age 65, of Chesterfield, VA passed away on Monday, March 12, 2007. She was born in Halifax, VA the daughter of the late Eugene and Eunice Franklin Hill. She served 19 years at G.E. Life and Annuity and was a 30 year member of Redemption Ministries. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Harold H. Jamerson; four children, Shelly Jamerson, Robert Pugh, Jamie Jamerson and Doug Scott; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held there on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at 11 a.m. A cremation will follow with a private interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Crossroad Ministries, 2568 N. Stedman Dr., Petersburg, VA 23830. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com
