Robert Allen Taylor, Jr., age 61, of Richmond, VA, died on Tuesday, March 6, 2007. He was born in Richmond, the son of the late Robert A., Sr. and Sue Shiflett Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a devoted husband and father, and was very proud of his son’s service in the United States Marine Corps. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Louise Taylor; five children, John R. Dunnavant, Daisy Marie Dunnavant, Sue Ann Ellis and husband Roy A., Jr., Misty Lynn Taylor and fiancé David Lee Hall, Jr., and Robert Allen Taylor, III, USMC, and girlfriend Ashley D. Smith; two brothers, Richard Taylor and Morris Taylor; and a sister, Judy Ann Singleton. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Chesterfield on Thursday, March 8, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will follow there on Friday at 11 a.m. with interment in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. Dear Sandra,
I knew Robert beginning when I was 13 years old and we called him "Bubba". Wayne Fuller, Edward Loftin, Bubba and I spent alot of time circling Bill's Barbecue during our teen-age years. I have such fond memories of our time together. Then we grew up, got married and became neighbors for a short period of time. When Bubba moved away, we lost touch with each other.
I am so sorry for your lost. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers while you go through this difficult time. May God be with you.

Always remember, God sees the big picture, and we as humans see 1 day at time. I pray that Sandy, and the family, rest in God's peaceful arms, and keep the faith, that he is always in control.
My thoughts, and prayers are with Sandy, and the entire family.
