Clements, W. D. "Doug"Monday, March 05, 2007
Suffolk, Virginia Warren Douglas “Doug” Clements, 66, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2007 at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Waverly, VA he was the son of the late Herman and Frances Jones Clements. Doug worked as an equipment operator for Nansemond Lawn and Garden. He is survived by his wife, Linda Crocker Clements; three children, Christopher Warren Clements, Lisa Renee Clements and fiance Hanson Newbold, Jr., and Holly Denise Clements and fiance Eric Chappell; two grandchildren, Jasmine Nicole Chappell and Jordan Nicholas Chappell; a brother, Michael Clements; a sister, Faye Clements Clark and her son, Eric Fowler; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and co-workers. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 9, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Purviance Chapel, J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Wakefield, Virginia. Interment will follow in Waverly Cemetery, Waverly, Virginia. The family will receive friends at the Purviance Chapel on Thursday evening, 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. Condolences may be posted on our website at www.jtmorriss.com. Condolences
