Bostic, Hugh R.Sunday, February 25, 2007
Hugh Ray Bostic, age 66, of Richmond, VA passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2007. He was born in Forest City, NC and owned an excavation company in the Richmond area for most of his life. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Lee Bostic and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Selvey of Forest City, N.C. He is survived by his wife Frances Lee Bostic; four children, Theresa Goodwin and husband, Robert of Chester, VA, Becky Anders and husband, Robert of Prince George, VA; Melissa Bostic of Richmond and Kristie Armstrong and husband, Robert of Henrico, VA; fifteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, Donald Bostic and wife, Carol of Dinwiddie, VA; one sister, Lucy Coe and husband, Tom of Jacksonville, FL; a number of loving nieces, nephews and devoted friends. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Thursday, March 1, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 3rd at 3:00 p.m. at Alexander United Methodist Church in Forest City, N.C. I was very sorry to read of your loss in the Dinwiddie Monitor. The name Bostic caught my eye. My father passed away 1/22/2007. He lived in Lexington, NC but was born and raised in Forest City, NC.
