Aubrey Delino Shuler, 71, of Hopewell died Tuesday, February 20, in John Randolph Medical Center. He was born in Chesterfield County and had been a lifelong resident of Hopewell. Mr. Shuler served in the U. S. Army and was a retired auditor for Virginia Department of Transportation. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Belle Liverman Shuler, a son, Donald A. Shuler and a brother, Darrell Shuler. Mr. Shuler is survived by his wife, Joyce B. Shuler, son Dale G. Shuler and his wife Dawn, two grandchildren, Dylan and Dustyn Cimo, all of Hopewell and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Friday, February 23, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service with the Rev. Wayne Rickman, pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Appomattox Cemetery. Dear Mrs. Shuler, Dale, and family,
I was sorry to hear of Mr Shuler's passing. I wasn't aware of it for quite some time, since the Hopewell News delivers twice a week now. I've been meaning to contact you. I did see the ambulance come for Mrs. Shuler the following week. I hope you are doing better. We prayed for God to help you through this trying time.
