Soles, Ollie M.

Ollie May Soles, age 91, of Richmond, VA passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2007. She was born in Dinwiddie, VA, the daughter of the late Thomas and Annie Wyatt Barfield. Mrs. Soles attended Walmsley Blvd. United Methodist Church, Richmond, VA for approximately 50 years. She was preceded in death by two sons, Francis O. Andrews, Sr. and L. Wendell Soles; one daughter, Ruth A. Tipton; grandson, Junnie Butler; and granddaughter, Sandra Cash. She is survived by two daughters, Dolores Harrison and husband Thomas “Buck” of Matoaca, VA and Rachel A. Getz of Lottsburg, VA; twelve grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; and her dear friend and caregiver, Edward M. Reese. A funeral service will take place at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions are sent to Matoaca Christian Fellowship Church Building Fund, 7700 River Rd., Petersburg, VA 23803.
