Condolences

Dear Penny,
Mac and I are so sad to read of your mom's death. We were in CH this past weekend and read the TD paper. We still have our links to Petersburg. My dad is at CH nursing home and mom at Dunlop House. So I go down every other weekend. Mac's sister and family are also in Pburg. My sister has moved to CH. So it is still home. There are so many good memories on Oakland and Maycox Sts. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Kathy Goodall Squires

Dear Penny, Jack & Meghan,

Ron and I wish we could be with you and your family at this time of sadness. Ron and I have many fond memories of your Mom. She always made us feel so welcome on our many trips thru Petersburg. Your parents doors were always open to us. She always had a wonderful home cooked meal waiting for our arrival. As we drive past Petersburg every year we see the exit for Crater Road and always comment on our times there. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you . These next few days will be long so try and take care of yourselves.
Miss you all,
Luv,
Lin and Ron

Penny,

I am so sorry to hear about your mother. She certainly lived a long life, and I hope a happy and healthy one. You may not remember me; my name was Linda Emory and I knew you when you worked at Fort Lee (where you met your husband). I am married to Smut Traylor, whose mother, Lucille, worked with your mother and was her friend. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Linda
