Robert Hugh Williams, 86, of Sutherland, passed peacefully at home on January 26, 2007. He was the son of the late Robert T. and Myrtie Hudgins Williams. He is survived by his daughter, Diane W. Bell; grandson, Daniel Robert Bell; sisters, Margaret W. Lewis and Lucille W. Bishop; special family friend, Marilee B. Nye and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews and devoted pet “Tails.” The family will receive friends and family at the home of Diane W. Bell on Sunday, January 28th from 3 to 6 pm. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m Monday, January 29th at Concord Presbyterian Church in Rawlings, VA with the Rev. Thomas Malcolm Waltz officiating. .The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Diane, I was saddened to hear of the loss of your father. I will always remember how nice he was to me whenever I visited and how we always said we were going to go "cut a rug" on one of my trips home. My thoughts are with you, Daniel and your family at this time. I know how hard it will be for ya'll, but please know you are surrounded by those who care and are praying for you during these difficult times. With much sympathy.
