Soto, Crystal F.

Crystal Faye Gibbs-Soto, age 37, of Petersburg, VA, died on Friday, January 12, 2007. She was born in Petersburg, the daughter of Joan Bowe of Colonial Heights, VA, and Robert N. Gibbs of Dinwiddie, VA. She grew up as a true Christian in life, and was a loving mother. Crystal was known as being kindhearted and giving, often times beyond her means. She was also a big fan of country music. She is survived by five children, Brandon Gibbs, and Louren, Jeremy, Eliscea, and Andrew Soto; a sister, Debbie M. Kidd and husband Delmar of Chester, VA; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Carlton E. Bowe of Colonial Heights, and Mrs. Ira Gibbs, of Ettric VA; and a special friend, Steele Daughtarty of Hampton, VA. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Petersburg, on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, from 6 to 7:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 7:00 p.m. A private cremation and interment will follow at a later date. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I will be praying and thinking of you all. I am sorry to say that I am unable to attend the funeral because I just can not handle this right now.
