Barricks, Sr, Carlton E.

Carlton Eugene “Buddy” Barricks, Sr., 81, of Colonial Heights died Saturday, January 13, 2007. He was born in Ettrick the son of the late Gilbert and Eunice Barricks. He was a Veteran of World War II and fought in the Normandy invasion with the U.S. Navy. Mr. Barricks was a 50 year member of the American Legion in Ettrick and was a member of Swift Creek Baptist Church. He was the widower of Mary Ruth Barricks and is survived by his son Carlton Barricks, Jr and wife Brenda; sister Dorothy Worley; granddaughter Leah Barricks; grandson Carlton E. Barricks, III and wife Elizabeth; great-grandson Isaac; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 17th at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service with interment to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA, 23058. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com

saw this on the internet and wanted to acknowledge
your losing your Father. I know all who knew him will miss him. I always enjoyed carrying on with you both. I am living in Philly now. So take care.
