Grant, Barbara L.

Barbara Lee Grant, age 70, of Disputanta, VA, died on Friday, December 29, 2006. She was born in Hopewell, VA, the daughter of the Late Elmo and Susie Lee. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother, and current member of Prince George Christian Church. Barbara was the widow of George G. Grant, and was also preceded in death by a grandson, David Neil Grant. She is survived by two sons, James Lee Grant and wife Roberta, of Prince George, and David Elmo Grant and wife Linda of Disputanta, a daughter, Lisa Grant Mason and husband Thomas, of Prince George four grandchildren, Betsy J. Grant, Derrick L. Grant Donald S. Mason and Thomas C. Mason; great-grandchildren, Stavros J. Korkos, Jr., and Brianna Nichole Grant; brothers, Sonny G. Lee and Johnny O. Lee and wife Gloria; and four sisters, Linda Nicely and husband Ben, Brenda Rutland and husband David, Carolyn Lockhart and husband David, and Teresa Wimmer and husband Tommy. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2007, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Prince George Christian Church, with Rev. Wayne Marburger, Officiating.
