Reiter, Adele H.

Adele Hanzlik Reiter, 91, of Dinwiddie County, widow of George J. Reiter, Sr., passed away Thursday, December 28, 2006. Born in Prince George, she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Frances Machat Hanzlik. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Reiter was preceded in death by a daughter, Doris Reiter. She is survived by a daughter, Frances Harrison and husband, Herman of Church Road; sons, George J. Reiter, Jr. and wife, Virginia and Joseph F. Reiter and wife, Melissa all of Dinwiddie; ten grandchildren, Kimley Hines, Herman Harrison, Jr., Scott Reiter, Michael Reiter, Emily Goddard, Mark Reiter, Amanda Boomershine, Brian Reiter, Miranda Reiter and Abigail Reiter; eleven great-grandchildren; and a special niece, Rose Uzel. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2006 with a visitation to follow until 8:30 p.m. at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 30, at St. John Catholic Church, Dinwiddie, followed by interment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
