Cheek, Mary A.

Mary Ann Cheek, 65, of Prince George went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 20, 2006. Mary Ann was born in Hopewell and had been a life long resident of this area and was a member of Second Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late James Clyde Williamson, Sr. and Sophie Pito Williamson and sister of the late Vincent J. Williamson. She is survived by her husband, James D. Cheek; two sons, Thomas E. Harris, Jr. and wife, Donna Ann, John I. Harris and wife, Michele; two daughters, Cynthia H. Inge and husband, Edward, Valerie C. Blystone and husband, Jeffrey; eight grandchildren, Ashley Morgan Inge, Eric B. Harris, Chad D. Harris, Timothy A. Dodd, Brian M. Harris, Kevin D. Harris, Logan M. Blystone, Dalton J. Blystone; one brother, James Clyde Williamson, Jr.; two sisters, Mildred W. Burnham and Louise W. Tiller. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Friday, December 22, 2006 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 23rd at 11:00 am with Dr. Joseph T. Lewis, pastor of Second Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

Our hearts go out to everyone in the Cheek Family. Mrs. Cheek was such a special lady and to have known her the many years I did is such a blessing. She will greatly missed, but remembered always.
