Condolences

Thank everyone so much for posting. I really appreciate it. Earlier this year Jason and I lost one of our dearest friends unexpectedly. This poem was used for David.

God looked around his garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. Gods garden must be beautiful. He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering. He knew that you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills hard to climb. So he closed your eyelids and whispered "Peace be thine".
It broke our hearts to lose you. But you didn't go alone. For a part of us went with you the day that god called you home.

I've read this poem many many times since Davids passing. Though not quite right for Jason in parts, I still felt it appropriate. I'm thankful he didn't suffer and there was no pain. For Jason anyways. As for us, well we're taking it day by day, little by little. In a way, it helps me to think maybe David needed Jason more there on the other side.
*BIG hugs* to all that posted.

We grew up together in Rock Springs Farm. Jason and Chris, my brother, were the best of friends. Our parents were also good friends. Jason was a wonderful person and will be terribly missed. Michelle, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Please let us know if you need anything. Dad still lives in the same house in the neighborhood.
