Hazel Gibbs Johnston, 85, of Chester died on Wednesday, December 13, 2006. She is survived by her husband, Frank Johnston, Jr.; son, Charles Johnston and wife, Carol; daughter, Lori Sandy and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Michelle, Peggy, Jordan, Olivia, David, John and Melissa; great-grandchildren, Emily, Ben, Nathan, Parker, Emma, Hunter and Alexis; sister, Evelyn Bland and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Friday, December 15th from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, December 16th at 11 am. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com. Condolences
Frank, First, I would like to extend to you and your family sincere sympathy during this time of grief and sorrow. Secondly,I am very interested in my family's geneology, and wonder if your great-grandfather could have been Leander Perry Johnston, and your grandfather Charlie Johnston who was raised in Princeton WVA. I believe that my great-uncle Charlie, in whom I am interested, had a son named Frank, and, if so had brothers Josiah and Lloyd. In this case, could you be the grandson of Charlie and the son of Frank? I am the grandson of Josiah and great-grandson of Leander Perry. Thirdly, I hope you will forgive me for intruding at this sad time, but perhaps someone in the family could have similiar interests as my own.
